about

This is probably the most depressing song I'd ever written. It's all about the impending and unstoppable force of entropy, nothingness, and the endless abyss. Good song for a sunny summer afternoon.

lyrics

The darkened hallways of memory
They glimmer and they glow all abstracted
And fractals and frames and things without names
They serenade us from the heavenly gates

Our lines they intersect
And then they're off into the big nothing

The big nothing
And its hollow ways
(repeat)

Your frosty bite and your tangled traces
Have got me all wandering again on my own
Flying machines and broken dreams
Your celestial spheres all rattle and clank

Our lines they intersect
And then they're off into the big nothing

The big nothing
And its hollow ways

about

Jesus on the Moon Puyallup, Washington

Jesus on the Moon is a collection of lo-fi songs I've been recording in basements, garages, and bedrooms since 2005. Recently, Derek Reed joined the ranks and, with the help of a drum machine, we've started to bring the songs to the stage.
