I wrote and recorded this song purely because I bought new bass strings. A bass never quite sounds the same as when you first put bass strings on it, so I had to take advantage of the unique sound before it was lost. I recorded the bass line here and added synths and guitar and vocals and drum machines around that initial bass line.
